NATALIE MASSENET - organizer of Net A Porter and administrator of the British Fashion Council - has been granted a Damehood in the Queen's New Year's Honors list for administrations to design and retail.
On-screen characters Barbara Windsor and Sian Phillips joined Massenet in getting the honor this year.Elsewhere in design and retail, Jacqueline Gold - the CEO of Ann Summers and Knickerbox - got a CBE for administrations to enterprise, ladies in business and social endeavor; Helen Dickinson, CEO of the British Retail Consortium, was recompensed an OBE; while Alison Lewy - author of coaching and financing activity Fashion Angel - got a MBE.
In diversion, performing artist Imelda Staunton got a CBE, while kindred on-screen characters Idris Elba, James Nesbitt and David Oyelowo were all granted OBEs. Obscure frontman Damon Albarn was the most eminent music-industry name to be respected, getting an OBE.
